Tuesday, 25th December 2001 - Day 131

Hello everybody, this is my FIRST CHRISTMAS DAY. It seems like quite fun really, Father Christmas came and delivered me a stocking in the night with lots of nice presents in it including, a card, comb and brush set and teddies galore. Thank you very much for such lovely gifts. I got the nurse to help me make a card for Mummy and Daddy in the night. it has a large foot print on it from me and a little picture of me inside just in case they have not got enough. I also got a visit from Mummy's consultant who delivered me way back in August. He also gave me a small present of a lovely hairy dog (toy of course), thank you.

As you can see from the pictures of today Mummy and Daddy came in to see me fairly early in the morning and brought me a card and a present or 2 from them. I got a nice Mr. Christmas which was nearly as big as me. See the pictures below. I had a lovely couple of cuddles with Mummy and Daddy, before they went home to have their Christmas lunch. Hopefully next year I will be able to join in myself. I still have my little cough today, lets hope it gets better tomorrow.

Mummy and Daddy came back later in the day with Grandma and Grandpa to give me more presents and to tell me all about the ones I have also got at home waiting for me. They told me all the presents and I must say I am very surprised and overwhelmed with all of them. Thank you all for such nice presents. I hope to play with or wear them soon, apart from the books of course which may take a little longer for me to get to but will give Mummy and Daddy something to read to me from when I get home. I got more cuddles from everybody and fell asleep in their arms. I was so worn out by all the excitement of the day. I think I am going to like Christmas from now on, so much happens and I get so much attention....
